Zepth AI · Process ownership

What is the difference between an AI copilot and an AI agent?

A copilot assists inside a task you are already doing; an agent is accountable for finishing the work. Ask a copilot to review a document and it reviews the document, then hands the process back — somebody still watches the deadline and chases the reviewer. An agent owns the closure path from intake to signature, and is measured on whether it closed on time.

Assistance versus ownership

Both can be useful, and they answer different questions. "Can you help me with this?" is a copilot. "Who is making sure this closes?" is an agent.

Zepth is the construction project delivery platform — it runs construction, procurement and asset management on one record, and does the work: reading the drawings, reviewing the submittals, matching the invoices and flagging the risks, with a human sign-off on anything consequential.
